Adipic Acid, also called as hexanedioic acid is an organic compound that is produced by blending cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol called ketone-alcohol oil. Through a multistep pathway, this oil is reacted with nitric acid that causes oxidization and gives adipic acid. This white crystalline solid with the formula (CH2)4(COOH)2 is used in polymer industry as a monomer. Our company supplies this white crystalline powder to plastic industry to produce nylon and polyurethane. It can cause skin irritation, which is why must be handled and used with care.
